This course addresses the various issues surrounding families of children with disabilities and the transitions and challenges they encounter. You will leave this course with new tools on how to be an effective collaborator with families in order to support the child in educational and family settings. Exciting activities, real-life scenarios, current event discussions, and selections of poetry/literature that will warm your heart! Come join us as we make way for SMOOTH transitions between home and school for special needs students. This course is designed to assist both K-12 regular education and special education teachers.
